Terms and Conditions

1. Although all information supplied by Home Staging by Anne to "the Client" is given in good faith, the Client should satisfy themselves that all details and information provided to them is current and appropriate to their needs.
2. Advice given by Home Staging by Anne is generally of a cosmetic nature and does not cover structural issues as Home Staging by Anne does not give structural advice. Before undertaking structural alterations or major repairs to the Property the Client is strongly advised to seek relevant professional advice from a suitably qualified architect or builder. To the extent permitted by law home staging consultants acting for Home Staging by Anne cannot accept responsibility for any loss, injury or inconvenience sustained by any person using the information on the web site or in the action plan.
3. Whilst Home Staging by Anne will use all reasonable endeavours to enhance the value and marketability of the Property, we do not guarantee:
   • That the Property will sell.
   • That the Property will sell any faster than if Home Staging by Anne had not provided its services.
   • That the Property will return a higher price than if Home Staging by Anne had not provided its services.
4. It is a condition of this agreement that all amounts payable by the Client to Home Staging by Anne pursuant to this agreement are paid within the stipulated time frames. In the event that any amount is not paid within the stipulated time frame , all amounts payable by the Client to Home Staging by Anne pursuant to this agreement become immediately due and payable (whether legally demanded or not). All amounts contemplated by this agreement are inclusive of GST.
5. All amounts payable by the Client to Home Staging by Anne pursuant to this agreement will be accepted by cheque, cash, manual credit card facility or electronic funds transfer to:

6. Home Staging by Anne will never knowingly pass your information on to another party without your authorisation, however, Home Staging by Anne may recommend or use other businesses in providing the Client with the goods and/or services contemplated by this agreement. Any business used by Home Staging by Anne or recommended to the Client by Home Staging by Anne is done so for the convenience of the Client only. Home Staging by Anne accepts no responsibility for the goods or services provided by any other business which has been recommended or used by Home Staging by Anne. The Client should satisfy themselves of the suitability of any other business before entering into any contract for goods or services with that business. Home Staging by Anne will not engage any other Business to provide goods or services in respect of the Property without the express written consent of the Client. The Client is encouraged to provide feedback via our contact form regarding businesses used and Home Staging by Anne will monitor good practice.
7. In the event that Home Staging by Anne use or recommend to the Client another business as contemplated by clause 6 of these Terms and Conditions, the Client is directly responsible for all charges, liabilities or accounts issued by that business in respect of the Property.
8. A consultation in the Property will take approximately 1-2 hours and the majority of the house will be viewed and discussed during this time. However, areas without a standard access or without a full staircase are not included and the consultant maintains the right to exclude any areas at any time which are not regarded as safe or appropriate.
9. Home Staging by Anne may rent items to the Client at rates to be agreed between the parties. All rental items remain the property of Home Staging by Anne and damaged items will be invoiced to the Client at the purchase price. Payment of all amounts contemplated by this clause are due within 7 days of the date on the invoice from Home Staging by Anne.
10. Any suggestions made in the action plan after a consultation are as a result of the initial viewing of the property and/or photographs and information supplied by the client. The advice provided by Home Staging by Anne is given in good faith and the client should satisfy themselves, before taking action as a result of this report, that they are satisfied with the cost effective measures and have taken all necessary health and safety precautions as necessary in undertaking any improvements or alterations to their property. Home Staging by Anne cannot accept responsibility for any loss, injury or inconvenience sustained by any person using any information howsoever provided by Home Staging by Anne.
11. All emails received and sent are virus checked and security of information is safeguarded as much as possible. However, it is understood that the Internet cannot be regarded as a completely secure medium.
12. All of the pictures taken by Home Staging by Anne are the copyright of Home Staging by Anne and anyone wishing to copy the detail for commercial purposes must seek authorisation from Home Staging by Anne. Home Staging by Anne reserves the right to use all photographs taken on behalf of clients for promotional purposes, both printed and online.
13. In this agreement words importing the singular or plural number include the plural and singular number respectively and words of any gender shall include any other gender where two or more persons are included in the expression "the Client" then the liability under any covenant agreement or obligation herein set forth (whether express or implied) shall be joint and several.
14. Home Staging by Anne is able to give the client a range of estimates (excluding GST) of the total costs for example: home cleaning services - $125 minimum 3 hours (casual booking).
15. Home Staging by Anne is NOT bound by the estimate given.
    Home Staging by Anne will keep the client informed of any additional fees payable by the client.
16. PREPAYMENT
    The client shall pay into Home Staging by Anne's account upon signing this agreement the sum of $150 for the initial consultation. Home Staging by Anne may, from time to time, request further advances on account of future costs and disbursements and the client shall, upon such request or requests, pay the amount so requested into Home Staging by Anne's account. Home Staging by Anne is authorised to transfer moneys held in its account on behalf of the client to pay disbursements incurred on the client's behalf, and to meet accounts (including interim accounts) rendered to the client by Home Staging by Anne from time to time. Should Home Staging by Anne's costs not exceed the total amount advanced, Home Staging by Anne shall, upon completion of the matter, refund the balance of the advance to the client.
